Mercy

Father God in heaven,

You are perfect in authority, and I fear You.
You are perfect in character, and I respect You.
You are perfect in honor, and I worship You.
You are perfect in majesty, and I admire You.
You are a perfect leader, and I believe in You.
You can do all things.

I ask all of this in the perfect name of Jesus Christ, because in His name I am known, and by His perfect blood I am made worthy.

I pray for Christians worldwide. Please forgive our sins, protect us, and bless us. Keep us obedient to You above all else and loyal to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Do not allow the world to divide us by race, birthplace, or social status. Bless us with loyalty to You above all. Grant us obedience if You are willing to love as You command: to love You with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength; to love Your Church; to love our neighbors as ourselves; and even to love our enemies. Every day is a battle, so grant us obedience to You in all things. Bless us with a faith that honors You.

I pray for my dad. Please heal his heart, which appears to be failing. And when his time comes, may he be received into Your eternal kingdom with no pain, no fear, and in faith. Thank You for his faith. Bless him and keep him.

I pray for myself and my family, that we are saved unto Your eternal kingdom. May we be, do, think, want, say, and believe exactly what You want us to: be, do, think, want, say, and believe nothing more and nothing less. Protect us from all harm at all times. Favor us please always.

I ask for a pure heart. Bless us with lives and hearts that are pure, pleasing, and obedient to You. I pray to have favor with humanity and God always. However most importantly God.

I give You my life and all my plans. Let Your will be done not mine, nor the will of anyone else. Please forgive all my sins, cover me in Your grace and mercy, and encourage me. Grant me faith in Your mercy and grace.

I am at a crossroads and humbly ask, if You are willing, for Your divine intervention. I do not test You; I simply ask for help. I place this situation fully in Your hands. Keep me obedient to You at any cost by Your gentle and kind power. If it is within Your will, please cleanse me, restore me, and renew me by Your grace and mercy.

I also ask for help finding work. I pray for a job where I do not have to compromise my faith a good job with good pay so I can care for my family responsibly and independently; a job I can love and feel at home in; a stable job. I understand this may not happen this year, but if You are willing, may it come in the coming years, whenever Your will. When You provide, I pray that I use the money rightly, enjoy it properly, and use it the way You want me to use it.

I am also going on a trip this summer. Please be with me on this journey. Order my steps, I pray I only go with who You want me to travel with, and keep me in Your will. Keep me obedient to You at all times, make me a faithful example wherever I go, and protect me in every place and circumstance. Grant me travel mercies, peace, and discernment. Let this trip serve Your purposes alone. I place it fully in Your hands.

I pray for my community, that they are saved at any cost unto Your eternal kingdom and serve as a witness in this world. I also lift up all persecuted Christians, especially those in Africa, and ask for Your protection over them.

I now rest in You. You have all power. Everything is in Your hands.

Now and forever, by Your gentle grace and mercy alone,
for Your glory, Your purposes,
and for Your name which is above all names,
