Prayer for a Broken Heart

There are times in life when we all have a broken heart. The word of God says:

Trust in him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah (Psalms 62:8).

Being broken in heart is the ideal time to trust in Jesus for the miraculous.

Praying the Word for a Broken Heart

Lord, Your word says that when the righteous cry, You hear their cry and deliver them out of their troubles (Psalm 34:17). I am feeble and severely broken and I groan because of the turmoil of my heart (Psalm 38:8). I  believe that You draw nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and save such as be of a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18) because many are the afflictions and You deliver him out of them all. I know that You do not despise a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). Jesus, my heart is broken because ______________; and I am full of heaviness (Psalms 69:20) and I know that you are the Comforter (John 14:26)

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer (Psalms 61:1). I cry unto thee as my heart is overwhelmed and I ask thee to lead me to the rock that is higher than I (Psalm 61:2). O Jesus, draw nigh unto me for thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy (Psalm 61:3). O Lord Jesus You heal the broken in heart, and You bind up their wounds (Psalms 147:3). You were wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon You; and with Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). O God, heal my heart.

My soul melts for heaviness: Lord strengthen me according to Your word (Psalm 119:28). Your word says that when I cry unto You in times of trouble, that You will bring me out of my distresses (Psalm 107:28) because You Lord Jesus make the storm calm so that the waves are still (Psalm 107:29). In the name of Jesus, please make this storm in my life calm.

I know that You gave me the Comforter that abides with me for ever (John 14:16) so that when I am poor and sorrowful that You O God will always set me up on high (Psalms 69:29). I will praise the name of my God, Jesus Christ with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving (Psalm 69:30). Thanks, thanks, I give You thanks (Rev 11:17) for all You have done (Psalm 126:3). I am so blessed (Psalm 67:6), my soul has found rest (Isa 28:12), O Lord, I give You thanks.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray You heal my broken heart.
