Christian Lifestyle

What is a Christian lifestyle? We have all seen signs or billboards that ask "what is a Christian's number one vitamin". The answer being - B1! Great answer to the question.

It is impossible to live a Christian lifestyle if we are not being one. To be one we need to be true believers. True believers know that Jesus is God. They also obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and through this obedience, are born again - born into the kingdom of God. On this site, there are many pages giving the details about this miraculous experience. They are all listed just to the right of where you are reading now under the heading "GOSPEL".

It is possible though to be born again and not live a Christian lifestyle. The devil doesn't want anybody saved so he works overtime pulling people back into darkness. Keeping Out the Darkness deals with this catastrophe. I believe though, that by living this Christian lifestyle, darkness will flee from our lives.

Living the Life

To live this life, we obviously have to start with Jesus' two great commandments to us:

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great Commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39 NKJV).

Without being rooted in these two commandments, it will be impossible for us to live a Christian lifestyle. Do I know everything that we need to know to live this life? Absolutely not! But below there are over one hundred Christian behaviors, in no particular order, that I think are a great starting point to be able to live this life.
