In Search of God
"In Search of God" is about a community in Kenya who had a deep desire to know that Jesus is God and to learn the truth about obeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The community was Kapsokwany. When the surrounding villages of Kamukuywa, Mmaeni, Kamusinde, Chesamisi, Mmatili, Mmisikhu, Bbituyu, Bbokoli, Llutonyi, Chwele and Nalondo heard that Pastor Henry Nirima from the Shalom Miracle Fellowship Marinda in Bungoma had been invited by Bishop Elijah Oduo, of the Soul Restoration Church , to lead a conference, literally hundreds of people attended, in search of God.
In this conference, most of those that attended were rewarded by having Jesus, the One and Only God, the God that is One, taking residence in them. Four hundred and forty-three souls were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins and one hundred and thirty seven received the gift of the Holy Ghost ( Acts 2:38), speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance Acts 2:4).
Kapsokwany and surrounding area is a Trinitarian Pentecostal stronghold, so many had already spoke in tongues but of course had not obeyed the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, they were not were not baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. We give all the glory for this miraculous revival to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

Those in search of God, were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins (Acts 2:38)
Restored and reconciled souls walking about 15 kms from the Kuywa River, where they had been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, back to the Soul Restoration Church. They were Singing God's praises as they walked back.
In the middle of the night, from 2:47 am to 5:51 am they had walked this road from the conference centre to the river.
The Roots of This Victory
Of course the real roots of this victory was when God came in the flesh and sacrificed His life, shed His blood so we could apply it to our lives by obeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ, allowing us to be born again, born of water and Spirit, to be reconciled and restored to God, having access to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" and in Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive
power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be
witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth". The Apostle Peter and the other Apostles truly got Jesus' message. They preached this message to the Jews gathered in Jerusalem for the Jewish celebration of Pentecost, about 10 days after Jesus ascended to heaven (Acts 1:9). About three thousand souls were baptized
(Acts 2:41)
in the name of Jesus Christ and were filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38) with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4).

In January of 2023, Pastor Nirima, started evangelizing from his home church, Shalom Miracle Fellowship Marinda in
Bungoma. He started preaching the truth about obeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a great example of someone who understands what Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19 and Acts 1:8. He first of all took the message to some of the churches in Bungoma. He started at the beginning of January and by
mid-January
he baptized seven pastors in the name of Jesus Christ and added them to a core team of ten pastors that accompanied him to the conference at
